Finding Your Voice in the Theatre
This workshop is for performers seeking to expand vocal capabilities in adventurous, playful ways that solidify presence.
Through a series of exercises and writing prompts, the actor authors and devises a performance piece to clarify how the voice supports their artist's mission.
The artist delves into personal mythology and body poetry–the language of inspiration–to uncover the meaning of their voice in the theatre.
They find freedom of expression, point of view, and how the artistic struggle can lead to a voice through the process.
